Bergstrom RAs: Your Primary Resources for Honors and SNC Information
Welcome, Class of 2021, to the St. Norbert College Honors Program! As first-year Honors students, you will all soon be living in Bergstrom Hall, the living-learning dorm community. We are here to introduce you to your Resident Assistants (RAs), older students who will live in the dorm and serve as major guides when you arrive at SNC and begin to learn about campus and all the involvement opportunities and resources it offers. Your RAs are not only responsible for enforcing the rules and maintaining positive relationships among their residents in Bergstrom Hall, but are also available for any questions you may have! As incoming first-years, you will surely be curious about a wide range of topics from academics to student organizations to really anything. Without further ado, meet your RAs!
Emily Hacker | First Floor RA Senior Music Liberal Arts Major, Psychology Minor Student Involvement: Co-president of Knights for Life, Treasurer of Hand Speak (Sign Language Club), Treasurer of Knight Theatre, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Old St. Joe's Church Choir, Handbell Choir
“As a senior, I've been through a lot during my years at SNC. My door is always open and I am always willing to try and help people the best that I can. That may involve pointing you toward a different resource on campus to help you, but I try my hardest to make sure that everyone is helped and feels welcome and safe. I love meeting and getting to know the new class of Honors students. I love hearing everyone talk about what's going on in their Honors 101 classes and helping them through any problems.”
Graeme Gallagher | Second Floor RA
Sophomore Communication and Media Studies Major (Media Concentration), English minor, Spanish Language Certification Student Involvement: Vice President of Global Scholars, Sports Writer for the "St. Norbert Times", TRIPS Participant, The Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, Writer for "the Honors Pulse"
“For the incoming students, I will always be there to talk to them about school, work, life, or anything in general. I have learned so many new things throughout my first year here at SNC, and I would love to pass on this information to the new students or anyone who needs advice. I plan to be in the dorm as much as possible and will have my door open at all times for anyone! I'm looking forward to being an RA in Bergstrom mostly because of the great community that is built there. Bergstrom is definitely one of the closest and connected dorms on campus, and I can't wait to see how the community grows throughout the year. That being said, I am really excited to plan programs for the residents and think that there will be some really great ones! [I] can't wait to meet you all! Have a great summer and I'll see you in the fall!”
Anna Denucci | Third Floor RA Sophomore History and Communications Double Major, Business Minor, Spanish Language Certification Student Involvement: ALIVE Program/Emmaus Center, Discoveries International, Green Knights for Diabetes, Intramural Volleyball, Dance Marathon, and Zambia Project
“I will always be available, or at least make time to be available, to talk about anything, whether that includes involvement, college life, etc. [I] would like to make Bergstrom Hall, especially third floor, an energetic, open, and fun environment like it was for me. I look forward to meeting my residents and helping them along through their first year until they get their feet on the ground. The first few weeks are hectic and fly by, but I am excited to be there with them and a part of the activities Honors and the campus has planned to make them feel at home and welcome [at] the college they will hopefully be in for the next four years. Enjoy your door decs when you come... I am going to try to make them something fun!”
