The NCHC Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (UReCA) is an online publication looking for submissions to its next issue. UReCA is a nationally recognized undergraduate journal which showcases the original work of honors students with categories ranging from the creative arts to STEM. Submissions for this year's issue are due on August 10, with publication taking place just before the NCHC national conference in November. Submissions can be made via Submittable, which can be accessed through the UReCA website at http://www.nchc-ureca.com/. Requirements typically include a maximum length ranging from 5,000 to 7,500 words, a cover letter, a letter from a faculty advisor, and an artist’s statement (applicable to creative pieces). A listing of each category and their specific requirements can be found in Submittable. The SNC Honors Program encourages its students, especially those with works accepted to the NCHC’s national conference, to consider submitting to UReCA. Any questions can be directed to SNC Honors Program member, Alexa Paleka ’20, who is currently an NCHC student editor of UReCA at firstname.lastname@example.org.
