With finals week rapidly approaching, students tend to be running around campus searching for the best study spots. Whether you study better with friends or by yourself, the SNC campus has a study spot just for you!
Looking for a quiet spot with a nice view? The Gehl-Mulva Science Center offers a relaxing study lounge on the second floor. Here you can relax with friends or study by yourself while watching students walk around campus below you. A more hidden “gem” on campus can be found in the campus center. After walking up three flights of stairs, you’ll find LAG’s Lounge, a large study space with desks, couches, and tables for both collaborative group work and personal study sessions. Better yet, this reflection lounge overlooks the scenic Fox River! Of course, the Mulva Library offers four floors of study spaces and study rooms that are easily accessible. However, one of the favorite study spots can be found on the first floor of the library at Ed’s Coffee Shop. This is a nice space to gather with friends and grab a bite to eat or a coffee to get you through those long (but worthy) study sessions! If the hustle and bustle of the coffee shop isn’t for you, Mulva has provided a wonderful reflection lounge (a personal favorite) on the third floor! A massive array of tables, desks, and couches offer a relaxing and peaceful place to study and reflect. Along with the comfortable arrangement, the lounge overlooks the famous Saint Norbert Arch and even has a fireplace to keep you warm and cozy while studying! Finally, an unknown, but perfect, study spot can be found in the Bemis International Center. Located on the third floor, the Center for Global Engagement offers a quiet and personal study space tucked away for hardworking students just like you!
This campus offers plenty of places to study and collaborate. With all these options available to you, why not study hard and do it comfortably?
