The National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) was founded in 1966 with the goal of helping support and promote undergraduates to go above and beyond at their college. The annual NCHC Research Conference is a place for students to do just that.
The conference offers an opportunity to students who wish to present their findings in their own research. This upcoming conference takes place November 6th through the 10th in New Orleans, LA. Not only will students be able to present, but they may also network with other students and faculty members from honors programs all across the nation. In terms of their presentations, though, they must either be based on an original research project or a research paper.
By providing opportunities for young scholars to present their research, this organization allows students the chance to build their resume with through both presentation and communication with others. Additionally, it provides attendees, whether they are presenting or not, the opportunity to travel to a new, interesting place as well as the chance to see their peers’ hard work.
With many of its own students attending this past fall, the SNC Honors Program is looking forward to seeing who travels to the conference this year!
